In this illustration, titled 'The Storm After the Calm,' I sought to capture a deeply personal journey. As a hypersensitive person, I spent years within my bubble, finding the outside world to be overwhelming and even violent at times. This experience led me to create this artwork as a way to express my unique perspective.
The illustration features a transparent bubble in the sky, representing the safety and comfort I had created for myself. Within the bubble, everything is calm, much like the peace I found in my solitude.
A single finger carefully pressing against the surface of the bubble. This moment signifies a choice to step out of one's comfort zone, a bit like when you decide to try something new or different. It's the beginning of change. It's a reminder that, even as hypersensitive individuals, we are meant to experience life in our own way, at our own pace.
